Simone Carrara has been working at Eurofins Biopharma Product Testing Italy since 2012. He currently serves as Business Unit Manager for Extractables & Leachables (E&L) and Packaging Testing, and as Senior Scientific Director for E&L. Simone holds a degree in Chemistry, a Master’s in Biotechnology, and an MBA. He began his career specialising in analytical chemistry with a focus on pharmacokinetics and ADMET profiles. For more than a decade, his expertise has centered on E&L, Container Closure Integrity Testing, and Packaging Testing, supporting pharmaceutical companies in achieving regulatory compliance and optimizing development processes.
