Wei Wu works at CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals as the Associate Director of Engineering, with responsibility on the development of commercial scale continuous processes for API manufacturing.
With 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical process development, I built in-depth understanding of the separation technologies. As the SME of the separation technologies in the engineering team, I led the continuous rotary filter and drum dryer systems design and optimization. These processes were successfully implemented in the first end-to-end integrated continuous manufacturing (ICM) pilot plant in the US. Prior to that, I developed a continuous clarification bypass filter system and published the results at OPR&D. I received my Bachelor of Science in ChemE at Texas A&M University and my Master of Science in ChemE at Northeastern University.
