Gemma Packer
Senior Scientist
Dr. Gemma Packer is a Senior Scientist at Lhasa Limited, where she leads the nitrosamine quality initiatives, including the Lhasa Nitrites database and Nitrosamine Formation database. Gemma earned her PhD in Chemistry from the University of Southampton in 2016 and Masters from the University of Leeds in 2013. She has experience in drug discovery and R&D, having worked as a Medicinal Chemist in an R&D department for a pharmaceutical company before joining Lhasa. Her primary interest lies in applying chemical theory to support decision making within industry. Additionally, Gemma serves as a scientific consultant for Consult Lhasa, a subsidiary of Lhasa Limited.
